Central Heating Power Flush
12-Month Workmanship Warranty
1. Applicability
This warranty applies only to domestic central heating systems at the property where the service was carried out.
2. Warranty Period
This workmanship warranty is valid for 12 months from the date the power flush service is completed. This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3. Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies solely to the standard of workmanship of the power flushing service. If sludge-related circulation issues reoccur and are demonstrated to be directly attributable to the service not being carried out with reasonable care and skill, we will inspect the system and, where appropriate, undertake further power flushing work at no additional labour cost. If after the further power flushing the system is found to be clean and free from sludge/debris, then the full cost of the power flush will be charged at the current rate stated on our website.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover pre-existing defects, corrosion, wear or deterioration of components; failures revealed following sludge removal; boiler or manufacturer faults; limescale; contamination introduced after the service; system design faults; third-party work; or failure to maintain the system in accordance with BS 7593 and manufacturer guidance.
5. System Condition Acknowledgement
Older or poorly maintained systems may contain components weakened by age or corrosion. A power flush may expose pre-existing faults that were previously concealed. National Power Flush is not responsible for failures arising from components already defective or near failure.
6. Chemical Inhibitor Requirement
A suitable corrosion inhibitor must be added following the power flush and maintained in line with BS 7593:2019. Failure to maintain inhibitor protection will invalidate this warranty where sludge or corrosion reoccurs as a result.
7. Magnetic Filter Recommendation
Where recommended, the installation of a magnetic system filter provides ongoing protection. Installation is optional and charged separately. Declining a recommended filter may increase the risk of future sludge formation and related issues, which are not covered by this warranty.
8. No Performance Guarantees
A power flush improves system cleanliness and circulation but does not guarantee improved heat output, efficiency, or system lifespan.
9. Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited strictly to remedial power flushing work. Replacement parts and consequential losses are excluded. Nothing in this warranty limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
10. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and property.
11. Statutory Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. This warranty does not affect your legal rights.
